MEDICARE
If you have been referred by your GP and have a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you will be eligible for a Medicare rebate. You will be entitled to 6 individual sessions per calendar year with an additional 4 sessions under exceptional circumstances. In addition to the individual sessions and where group sessions are conducted, you may be entitled to a Medicare rebate for up to 12 sessions in any one calendar year. Fee payments and Medicare rebates can be processed on the spot with either a debit or credit card.
PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE
If you have private health insurance with “extras” cover you may be entitled to a rebate. Most private health claims can be made on site through HICAPS. All others claims can be made by taking your receipt to your insurer for payment.
WORKSAFE
Direct Debit available with no gap fee for 55-minute sessions.
STUDENT SERVICES
Students with bad study habits often do not perform well academically and incur high levels of stress. Procrastination, poor time management, loss of motivation, burnout, exam and public speaking anxiety are some problems that affect academic performance. In most cases these problems can be corrected by targeted Cognitive Behavioural Strategies.
Student Fee
The fee for students with a Centrelink Health Care Card and a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan is $169.80: Rebate $141.85: Gap $27.95.
OSHC Students
BUPA OSHC – Fees will be direct billed to BUPA
All other OSHC – $169.80
NDIS Support
The National Disability Insurance Scheme pays for psychology services for clients with some types of mental health problems. Assistance in applying for NDIS support can be provided to ensure that your mental health issue has been identified and assessed by a clinical psychologist. Additionally, report writing and ongoing treatment is available to clients with an NDIS plan.
